In basic obedience training, your dog will learn essential commands that promote good behavior and improve communication. These include, but are not limited to; sit, stay, come, down, heel, place and leave it. We also work on loose leash walking, maintaining your dog's focus in the presence of distractions, and basic manners like not jumping or barking excessively. This approach focuses on rewarding good behavior with treats, praise and/or play, which helps your dog learn quickly and builds a trusting, respectful bond with you. It's a proven, humane and effective way to train dogs of all ages and breeds.

30-minute lessons are great for young puppies less than 4 months old, as their attention span is shorter. Short lessons prove to be the most effective at this age.

One-hour lessons are the most common duration preferred by most clients. They are perfect for dogs of all ages that need training inside the home or on walks around the neighborhood.

Two-hour lessons are great for dogs needing to be socialized and/or desensitized to many different factors. Two hours provide us the time to work at a nearby park and/or in our local dog-friendly stores.
