Boarding

  • Yes, your dog will receive plenty of exercise and playtime during their stay. We provide them with group play sessions, with other dogs their size, multiple times per day. If your dog prefers to play with humans, we provide activities tailored specifically to them. Whether they enjoy fetching a ball, a good game of tug of war, enrichment activities that promote mental stimulation, or going on a walk around the neighborhood, we’ve got you covered!

  • Yes, we provide regular updates and photos during your dog’s stay to give you peace of mind while you're away. You'll receive messages showing how your dog is doing, including playtime, meals, and relaxation. We know how important it is to stay connected with your pet, and we’re happy to keep you informed every step of the way.

  • Great question! All dogs who board in my home must be both dog friendly and kid friendly as we always have dogs and our children present! I do have the ability to keep dogs from needing to socialize with one another by taking turns taking them outside. However, keep in mind that they will still be in the presence of other dogs, even if they are not interacting with them. That being said, we are still absolutely a great option for elderly or timid dogs that aren't huge fans of playing with other dogs. We are NOT a good fit for dogs that are dog-reactive or dog-aggressive.

All dogs must also be crate trained as all dogs in our care are crated when I am out of the home and sleep in their crates overnight. During the day, I can be out of the home for 2-3 hours at a time, twice a day, leaving myself at least an hour in between periods of being away to ensure all pups are let out and properly exercised. Once I am home for the day, dogs receive plenty of free rein around our home to be loved up on and to release energy before bedtime. If this is not your dog's typical routine, or you believe they may struggle adjusting to this routine, it may be best to research other options, and that's totally okay!

  • As a professional dog trainer, I go above and beyond to keep your pets safe. The most important measures I take are listed below:

Every room in our home has a gate up in the doorway. This allows me to give dogs their own space to enjoy some quiet time and to enjoy their meals in peace. All dogs are always fed separately at mealtimes to avoid any fighting. There is also a gate up blocking the front doorway to our home to avoid any escape artists darting out the door.

All play sessions happen in our fenced in backyard. Groups are broken up into small dogs and big dogs. All introductions happen one-on-one, and no dog is ever thrown into a group of unfamiliar dogs. I take the time to make sure everyone interacts nicely with one another before throwing them all together to play. Any time dogs are together, they are under supervision. This goes for playtime outside and while they are inside the home.

We do not take dogs who show any signs of aggression towards other dogs. We also only take one new client at a time. This means that if it’s your dog’s first stay with us, they will only be interacting with dogs that I’ve hosted before and that I know the temperament of. This helps ensure your dog’s safety, which is my number one priority!

  • Our boarding costs are as follows:

$60 per night for the first dog

$40 per night per each additional dog
